Accessing your NetHome folder using a PC on campus
From TSSwiki
To access your NetHome folder using a PC on campus, follow the steps below:
Log on to the computer using your MCC username and password. Click the Start Menu.
Click Run.
Type \\nethome in the Open: box. (Note: the \ key is above the Enter key.)
Press Enter, or click OK. A list of folders appears. If this list does not appear, make sure you have logged on to the computer using your MCC account.
Find the folder named with your MCC username. In the example, the folder name is gerlock.
At this point you may wish to create a shortcut to your folder by dragging the folder to your desktop. Double-click your folder (or the shortcut you just created) to open the folder.
Remember that anything you place in your folder is private. You can create folders here (such as the Private folder in the example) and any files placed here will be accessible only to you. If you wish to make your files available on the web, place them directly into the www folder. The best way to do this, is to double-click on the www folder…
…so that you can simply drag and drop files into this window. Note that the special index.html file is the homepage for your nethome web site.
