Migrate MCC Gmail to MCC's Zimbra

If you had an MCC Student Gmail account and you have since become an employee, you will need to move any messages you want to keep into your MCC Zimbra account. Please see the following for instructions to do so:
- Go to the Mesa Community College OnePass Single Sign-On screen at http://mail.mesacc.edu. You should now see a screen similar to the image in Figure 1. Log in using your MyMCC username and password. This will take you to your MCC Gmail.
- Next, click on the Settings link in the upper right corner (circled in red in Figure 2).
- Click on the Forwarding and POP/IMAP link.
- In the IMAP Access: area, make sure that the Enable IMAP button has been selected.
- Click the Save Changes button at the bottom.

Log in to MCC's Zimbra Server
- Next, you'll need to log in to the MCC Email web interface (Zimbra). For instructions on how to do so, please Click Here
- Click on Preferences (Circled in red in Figure 4)
- Click on Accounts (Circled in red in Figure 4)
- Click the button that says Add External Account (Circled in red in Figure 4)
- In the Email address: box, type your MCC email address
- In the Account Name: box, type MCC Gmail
- In the Username of Account: box, type your MCC email address
- In the Email Server: box, type imap.gmail.com
- In the Password:box, type your MCC email password
- Under Advanced Settings: make sure there is a check mark in the box that says Use an encrypted connection (SSL) when accessing this server
(Please refer to Figure 5 for examples, if needed.)
- Click on the button that says Test Settings. If everything is set up properly, you should see a pop up that looks similar to the image in Figure 6.
- If it says Success as it does in Figure 6, click the Ok button.
- If you test said Success go back to the top of the screen and click the Save button (see Figure 7).
- It may take a few moments, but eventually, you'll see a message that says "MCC Gmail loaded" This means that all of your MCC Gmail messages have been copied over to the Zimbra server.
- If you view your mail folders now, you should see a new section of folders similar to the image in Figure 8.
- Your MCC Gmail is now copied into your MCC Zimbra account. Since MCC Gmail will be turned off at some point in the future, you should now remove the MCC Gmail account so that you will not see error messages when the service is disabled. To do so, please continue below.

- Click on Preferences
- Click on Accounts
- Click on the line that says MCC Gmail so that it is highlighted
- Click the Delete button
- Next, click on the Save icon at the top left of the screen (See Figure 10).
- You should see a pop up message (similar to that shown in Figure 11) asking if you want to delete the folder.
- Make sure you click the No button (Circled in red in Figure 11) This will sever the connection to MCC's Gmail, but retain the messages you've just finished importing.
