Rosters on your IP phone
Your students' PICTURE and PHONE NUMBER are only a few 'touches' away.
- If you hit the SERVICES button on your phone (looks like EARTH), you should see a service called "MCC Student Lookup."
- Just touch the screen on that line and it will launch the application.
- You MUST know you EMPL ID to make this work (it's on your check stub AND the back of your ID CARD)
- Type in your EMPL ID , then down arrow to SECTION - type in your section number and touch the SUBMIT button, and you should see your class roster.
- Touch any of the names listed and, if the student has an ID card, it will bring up their image. If you need to place a call to this student, just touch the button with the word DIAL on it under the picture.
Divert Incoming Calls
Pressing *iDivert* on your phone when a call is coming in will send the caller directly to your Voice Mail. That way your meeting or other important work isn't interrupted.
Forward Calls to Another Number
Ever want to *forward all* your calls to another number? On your Cisco phone in the display you will see CFwdALL press the botton directly below Enter the phone number you wish ALL your calls forwarded to example would be 9602xxx1234 or if you are forwarding to an area code that we are in which is 480 then you would dial 9xxx1234
Now in the display you should see Forwarded to and the exact phone number entered above.
To cancel the forward all simply press the CFwdALL again
Call Accounting
The new phones do not require you to key-in a long distance authorization code. Be advised Monthly Call Accounting reports are available to management on the first day of the month and/or can be run at other convenient times.
