These are instructions on how to configure Entourage 2008 to access and send email from your MCC email account, as well as District MEMO email accounts for employees.

Setting up Entourage 2008 to access your MCC Email (for Employees)
On the menu bar, click Entourage, then Account Settings...
Click New
Click Configure Account Manually
Click the Account Type: drop down box and choose IMAP. Click OK
In the Account name: field, type MCC Email
In the Name: field, type your name as how you want your name to appear on emails you send.
In the E-mail address: field, type your MCC email address (username@mesacc.edu)
In the Account ID: field, type your MCC username
In the IMAP server: field, type zimbra.mesacc.edu
If you'd like Entourage to save your password, type your password into the Password: field and click the Save password in my Mac OS keychain
In the SMTP server: field, type zimbra.mesacc.edu
In the Receiving Email section, click Click here for advanced receiving options
Click the This IMAP service requires a secure connection (SSL) checkbox. This will change the number in the Override default IMAP port: field to 993
Click the close box in the upper left hand corner
In the Sending Email section, click Click here for advanced sending options
Click the SMTP service requires a secure connection (SSL) checkbox
Click the Override default SMTP port: checkbox and type 465 in the field
Click the SMTP server requires authentication checkbox and leave Use same setting as receiving mail server selected
Click the close box in the upper left hand corner
Setting up Entourage 2008 to access your District MEMO Email (for Employees)
On the menu bar, click Entourage, then Account Settings...
Click New
Click Configure Account Manually
Click the Account Type: drop down box and choose IMAP. Click OK
In the Account name: field, type District MEMO
In the Name: field, type your name as how you want your name to appear on emails you send.
In the E-mail address: field, type your District MEMO email address (usually firstname.lastname@mcmail.maricopa.edu)
In the Account ID: field, type your District MEMO email address (usually firstname.lastname@mcmail.maricopa.edu)
In the IMAP server: field, type email3.dist.maricopa.edu
If you'd like Entourage to save your password, type your password into the Password: field and click the Save password in my Mac OS keychain
In the SMTP server: field, type mcmail.maricopa.edu
In the Receiving Email section, click Click here for advanced receiving options

(Optional) Setting up MCC and District MEMO Email Directories
On the menu bar, click Entourage, then Account Settings...
Click Directory Service
Click New
In the Account Name: field, type MCC Directory
In the LDAP server: field, type ds.mc.maricopa.edu
Click Options
In the Search base: field, type ou=People, dc=mc, dc=maricopa, dc=edu
Click OK
Click New
In the Account Name: field, type District Directory
In the LDAP server: field, type mcldap.maricopa.edu
Click Options
In the Search base: field, type c=us'
Click OK
On the menu bar, click Entourage, then Preferences...
Under the Mail & News Preferences section, click Compose
On the right, under the General section, make sure the Search directory services when addressing messages checkbox is checked
